How to Access the E-Learning Courses in New Family Search for Consultants and Priesthood Leaders

Open New Family Search at www.new.familysearch.org and sign in.

Now click on the “Help Center” link at the bottom.




Now click on the “Training Resources” folder tab at the top right, next to “My Cases.”




Next click on the “E-Learning Courses” link to gain access to the training courses that will have been loaded into your customized version of the Help Center within 72 hours after you have registered as a Family History Consultant or Priesthood Leader.




The courses which the Family History Department feels will be most helpful to your specific calling will now be presented to you on your customized version of the E-Learning Courses.




This menu of courses will be more typical of callings other than Area Advisor.




Clicking on a Menu item will open you to an explanatory page with an invitation to launch the course series.




When you click on “Launch this Course” it will open to a series of tutorials that pertain to that specific subject.”



You will now have a series of interactive tutorials to train you to be more effective in this subject. Most lessons take less than 15 minutes to complete. The system will keep track of your progress, even if you don’t complete the lesson in one session.
